Gloves Off

image:  Bert Stern
Go ahead and have your blondes, Gentlemen
You don't know what you're missing
Anyway
I prefer my men with gloves off
I want to see the dirt under their nails
and feel their callused hands
rub against my neck to lift
my dark hair
when they kiss my neck

Blondes may sparkle like diamonds
but it's surface shine
tossed out like Mardi Gras beads to the masses
But brunettes
know the power of mystery
Deep dark earthen tresses
gate the passages
where only the most favored
gain entry.

Personally some of the sexiest women I know are brunettes (or redheads) and I cant go past a tradie for sex appeal

oh how intriguing! a great response to the prompt - particularly liked this as it was unexpected - "I prefer my men with gloves off
I want to see the dirt under their nails
and feel their callused hands
rub against my neck" - very nicely done! nice seeing it on Magpie tales. OT

Mmmmm..... Always preferred brunettes and redheads to blondes anyway. Depending on my mood at the time, of course.

Dang! You been reading my autobiographic diary, Lolamouse?
Most of my knuckles and fingers have witnessed much tyrannic battles. The dirt from gravel pits have assimilated into the nature of my skin cells underneath my nails. The calusses on my hands and my feet are like lunar surfaces attached a rotund but healthy latino body.

My 'piel' is dark and my hair is starless midnight black so in this light I say to my brunette friend, we walk side by side sharing the depths of our thoughts snickering yet appreciating the blondness of the Sun. Getting to close to it would only burn and char our brain cells.

Wow, see how you bring out the secrets only meant for my secrets in my diary?

I especially love the earthen tresses that "gate the passages where only the most favored gain entry".

good job, and true- although I have known a few blonds with depth and fire.

That's '...to my rotund...' and '...too close to it'.

My goodness. How can I follow that last comment? I think with a champagne spritzer of admiration for the Mardi Gras bead image. :-)

Love your Mag ... and love the fact that she was never a real blonde!

I'm in a kind of limbo......how's strawberry-blondes' chance of gaining entry...?

A very Happy New Year to you and your family, Lola!

I'm with you!
I've never really been attracted to blonde hair and fair skin. I'm not unattracted to them, I just prefer a more ethnic look.
