Poetry is just the evidence of life. If your life is burning well, poetry is just the ash. Leonard Cohen

Modesty (Please!)

You may think you're hot
A total hunk
But modesty's best
When you choose a swim trunk

Your body's as bloated
As your big, fat ego
I don't need to see it
In a tight fitting Speedo

So before you go out
To the beach for a dunk
Please show some restraint
And cover your junk!

A priceless poem! Thanks for a good laugh. It is true that so many people, men and women go out dressed it the most unflattering and immodest attire. Hugs, pat

Amen, lol.

And, why is it that only men who should never do it are always the ones who mow their lawns shirtless?

LOL. Appropriate for this warm weather coming.
I was born in Latin America where women and men are quite liberal in their display. Our culture is not as hung up on the social/moral issues of 'sex' and the body. We have has not placed an overwhelming perversion factor on what should be 'natural'. Other than this, though, yes some should not display their "Junk"!
