I LOVE your love letter to turtles. And I love the turtles, too. This is very sweet, Lolamouse!
One must take special care of all of nature's creatures! I love turtles too.
Nice to know there are people out there who care for turtles! This should be made into a poster and distributed.
Love your letter ~~ Turtles are amazing! We had a pet turtle named "Myrtle" when we were kids .. I'll never forget the day we 'lost' it under a console radio. We did find her unscathed.
Oh, Miss Mouse, what a lovely haiku to the turtles. And I couldn't help noticing "don't be shellfish" in your labels list. Made me smile.K
... and I love the metaphor, too!
So important to remember about these wonderful creatures.
sad to see so many of them crushed on the road...they are always out after the rains..i try to save them if i can...

we just lost our neighborhood bunny to a car :(i always stop to move the turtles from the road. thanks for this.
I have a tender heart for wild life and am all for speaking up for them so this is perfect!
Awesome "letter". Beautiful tribute. Just because their shell makes them strong/stronger, doesn't mean we should kick 'em around. :)
