“Grow
that dream you had at five years old
the
first time a pencil callused your kindergarten fingers
You
ran all the way home screaming
“Look
Mom! I’m a writer! My hand is changing shape to
prove
that I’m a writer”.
Grow
that,
in
every crack of pavement
the
soles of your feet can find.

mmm....while probably parallel to this, i think it is important to remember when we first felt like a writer and make sure we have not polished beyond that so much we lose the magic people first fell in love with...
Nice.
And quite apropos since I believe today is What You Think Upon Grows Day.
I'm trying hard not to abuse it. (grin)
