Olivia Wilde's jawline, she said, is perfect
I was deep in my brooding
and resented the interruption
Just look at it, she said
So I did
As usual, she was right
That jawline was flawless-
square but not too square
the ideal angle
for a line of stars
in my favorite constellation
or a tiny row of butterfly kisses
It was as if the goddess herself
had sculpted that jawline
from her own stash of divine clay
right after making conch shells
and right before creating orchids
So I forgot why I had been brooding
because, once again, she had reminded me
of the sublime.
smiles...it is a nice jawline...butterfly kisses in rowes eh...hehe..
For two years, I had an on line girlfriend who had a thing about women with perfect jawlines. She would go into raptures over this poem...I think I'll send it her way!
Your poem was sublime...
I love the idea of constellations and butterfly in a tiny row, as kisses~ Beautiful!
She IS pretty. I forget what she was in.
I liked this very much - esp your integrity, meaning that after all, you admitted the truth (as you saw it) even though you were initially irritated by the interruption. Great poem, lady.

There seem to be other bits of her that are quite adequate as well. But if you look, there's little bits of perfection all over the place. Sometimes they are hidden, though.
