The Piano Man

Piano Man by LostMyFangs
You seduced me with piano, dark fingers plying ivory
I imagined your hands coaxing song from my skin as from the keys
Twenty years, harmony's strong, and your hands yet entice song.

Nice work here, LM. I like the feel, like smoky barroom piano, putting you in the mood. (Love your tags--I didn't exactly glide through this one either--in fact I just gave up completely on my first one after hours of hair pulling and started over.)

How lovely! Your metaphor is very strong and this must reach every reader on a personal level. So glad you joined us in the RT mini-challenge.

yum! love this one!
i especially love that you left the lines long... the lines evoke the keys of the piano, or your limbs, maybe :)

I've always imagined what it would be like to play a woman like a musical instrument. To cradle her neck in the hollow of my shoulder and ply her strings... to pluck and strum and bow to a crescendo.

Alas, all of the music is in my soul and none of it reaches my fingers.
