Solitude

image from Haiku Challenge
At last! Solitude
A chance to chat with my thoughts
I rouse them from sleep.

Bleary eyed, foggy
Stretching, yawning, blinking wake
Spurning inertia.

I greet them warmly
Like old ladies over tea
And take pen in hand.

Wonderful! I love the three haiku--so descriptive of a solitary feeling.
