Shall I draw you a map
or will you allow the stars to guide you?
Intrepid explorer,
do not fear
Though you head for depths unknown
the waters are warm
and the storms are few
Cast off your vessel
Float like driftwood on the waves
The treasure you seek
is already in your hands.

A treasure many have seeked....this is beautiful and full of depth! I love it!!
the water is warm....and float like driftwood...now that sounds wonderfully inviting.....smiles...treasure is like icing on the cake of that...
It is still a marvel to this dinosaur that celestial and navigation make sense together when floating in a boat, but if the vessel is a human being, my mind and heart grasp it like treasure. Poem is geat!
Your poem is lovely ..
(though I giggled when I read the first few words ~ my mother used to say 'shall I draw you a map?' when she was trying to make something clear)
Is there an X marking the site of the treasure?
This is a treasure, Lola!
Wonderful getting to know someone....what a great prompt this was.

really, where? I can't seem to find it! Hehehehe! Excellent poem- it really soothes the heart!
The storms are few, but I like that they still exist.
suh-weet!
..those last two last are perfect... indeed, the treasure we long sought was just in our hands... maybe some are just lacking in acceptance and awareness of its pressence... waiting further of an affirmation... great write... smiles...
