A tree with strong roots
Has branches that reach out wide
And grows tall and strong
A kite on a string
Can ride the wind past tree tops
To sail to the sun
Her feet sought the ground
So that her dreams could fly free
And climb past the clouds

Ooh, I really like the last one! It is important to be grounded in order to help yourself soar towards your dreams. :)
Beautiful thoughts from nature.
I liked your take on this a lot. Our ability to soar!
Very beautiful and uplifting too!! Could sense a feeling of freedom!!
this one was very very beautiful. all three of them are poignantly crafted and present a vivid imagery. perfect!
and both the images somehow different yet compliment each other! :) well done!

Love your take on the prompt ... I take all 3 "stanzas" of Haiku as one complete work. Thank you for sharing! ~becca~

Someone is Special
i love how you put these together for such a thoughtful image. i also love how you put the tree roots at the bottom and the clouds at the top of the post. it makes me think of the haikus as the trunk of a tree that holds in place a stairway to the sky. ^_^
