 You

oozed anger

out of every pore

Seething

Burning

Hot

Trapped everyone 

in your path

of caustic destruction

But time

tempers

even the whitest flame

Anger hardens

fossilizes amberlike

You 

polish your distortions

hoard your resentments

like precious stones

string them

on a necklace of self-righteousness

so heavy

You

can't even

breathe.

Is not love at all

The sun still rises

Despite anger at the mountains
