Please Take Me There

Mandala Heart by Judy's Creative Doodling

I want to know what’s real, please take me there
Believe the things I feel, please take me there

Been taken from, now too afraid to share
My scars have yet to heal, please take me there

The lies I've heard, the truth just seems one too
Forgotten how to care, please take me there

A labyrinthine maze I can’t escape
The end you won’t reveal, please take me there

So tired of grasping for what I can’t see
From running on the wheel, please take me there

Naked and scared; I’ve nothing left to bare
And nothing to conceal, please take me there

I want to see Heaven before I die
I give you my appeal, please take me there

I need to know the whole of love, not crumbs
A mouse could find and steal, please take me there.

I like what you did with that difficult ghazal form, including the mousey allusion in the final stanza.

What a lovely ghazal sonnet ~

I love the repetition, please take me there ~ The ending couplet is very good, with your signature name ~
