Full Moon

Full moon
mocks the morning sky
Empty dinner plate
lays on the breakfast table
Night does not end
with the sun
I awoke alone.

WOW! You said so much, with so few words - that is really great writing! The reader begins wondering. These lines could begin a short story!!!!!

Looking inside and outside that window--and scary both ways. Great short phrases full of mind-pictures(the empty dinner plate) add mystery and lots of shadow. Really one of my faves of yours, LM.
