Tiny Miracles

source
 Purple crocus heads
Push skyward through white snow drifts
Triumph of the sun

Red breasted robin
Chatters, nags, pecks, and complains
I can't help but laugh

Cherry blossom buds
Like strawberry jelly beans
Offer Spring's sweetness

We have to wait a bit for Spring's Sweetness out here on the high desert ~ your poem helps make the wait bearable!

The brevity of haiku suits the sometimes fleeting promises of spring, such as crocus rising from melting snow. My personal favorite is the nagging robin!

I love that you hear the red robin complaining and nagging. Very expressive.

Just beautiful. I love these small glimpses of spring, each one of them! Thanks for jamming with us this week.

The miracle is that this beauty is so simple and so complex and it brings us such joy and it is FREE. All we have to do is take the time to see it. Loved this!
