Kissing the Ceiling - Tamar and Noah (2008) by Fred Muram |
I have heard of ghosts
who leave stains on the ceilings of houses when
their inhabitants are not looking
Tonight
I will be the ghost
I will kiss your white tiled ceiling
and leave a blood red lipstick stain
Come morning
when you open your eyes and
gaze up
I will be watching
Your smile or
your scowl will decide
whether I stay
for breakfast.

Hey, she's cute. Why should the ceiling have all the fun?
I like your poem. No sense rushing into anything. See if they're worthy of your haunt, first!
Nice...and hot :)
Fantastic poem, Lola. I enjoy the ambiguity of it and all the possibilities of a smile or scowl that will determine whether or not this lover stays.
Anyone who kisses my ten foot ceiling will deserve serious respect.
But, that aside, a cute writing, acute writing.
ha...hope for his sake it is a smile...
This was so cute. Loved it
I agree with Fireblossom, almost a feeling that kiss could have been better served enticing those soon to be pleasured by bacon and eggs. Can't imagine a scowl greeting them.
ah yes the particulars are all in the kiss
Mmmm.....
I've never woken up to see that.
But I'd sure love to!
This is so creative! Great poem.
That's a very original idea. :D Love this poem.
Cute and steamy and very creative! Love it!
I like the mischief in this.
