I eat and sleep most of the day
Up in my tree is where I stay
I’m named because I move real slow
Upon my fur I watch moss grow
I have so little muscle mass
I rarely move my lazy ass
Instead I hang from this ol’ tree
Just where I am is where I’ll be
I’m just a sloth and not real nimble
I’d make the perfect US symbol!

Great poem. I used to be obsessed with sloths when I was a little. They seemed so exotic
... a bit harsh on America... but here are many sloth-like people out there, for sure. (Perhaps the current administation? - sorry couldn't resist)
