Breathe

source
Naked morning light
weaves a seamless blanket
Thoughts depart
like a passing breeze
I float,
a sylph
no longer tethered
to ground
Breathe in
Breathe out

Oh such a lovely lifting, reading your poem. Question: I wonder how they got the mouse on your sidebar to perch on top of that dandelion stalk????? he is adorable.

I have never been one for meditation but you make it sound very soothing indeed.

How appealing this sounds..."thoughts depart" and "I float"...I would love to feel like that.
A sweet serenity here, Ms Mouse.

Very restful place, LM. I'm afraid when I try it, I start immediately wondering if I turned off the coffeepot or something, but the world you project here has its own coherence and integrity.
