If all good things must end

then how to explain us?

I used to be afraid

to feel too good

Kept myself tethered

so the inevitable fall 

wouldn't hit too hard

Now 

I let my joy fly 

like a newly fledged bird

and I need not grieve

its ending

for each ending creates 

Space

for the beginning 

of something even

Better.
