great message in this...and def sad stats there...and in how we judge and treat people...
yep...we have no right to judge...but should spend our energy in helping and being compassionate..a fine piece..
Some people seem to do it effortlessly, however--I always wonder how, too--I guess it's that sociopathic quality of no empathy. Thanks for speaking out, LM.

As I've said before, the refrain structure of the triolet lends itself well to aphorisms or, as here, cultural admonitions. Great use of the verse form!

Excellent question for sure. Better to spend our lives with compassion than judgement. There is almost always something we could do to help.
