William Carlos Williams died onMarch 4, 1963. In his memory, I have reprinted his poem and then 3 of my own "tributes" in his memory. No disrespect intended-I love his plum poem!
This Is Just To SayI have eaten the plums that were in the icebox and which you were probably saving for breakfast Forgive me they were delicious so sweet and so cold

I have drunk
the wine
that was in
the fridge
and which
you were probably
saving
for dinner
Forgive me
it was there
and I'm
an alcoholic

I have copied
the term paper
that was on
your computer
and which
you were probably
going to turn in
tomorrow
Forgive me
you're so smart
and I need
an A

I have stolen
the poem
that you posted on
your blog
and which
you were probably
saving
for publication
Forgive me
you're so creative
and have
no copyrights

Oh, I am rolling! Hahahaha! These are just too good, woman.
I HATE that plum poem! If that presumptuous bastard ate my plums, he'd be wearing whatever else was in that refrigerator. Then he'd go buy me some more dang plums.
And go ahead...swipe Brian's poems! runzzzzzz
That last one made me laugh out loud!
I love that poem, and your "imitations" are terrific-tee hee! I think the good doctor would approve...
