Winter Poem

Winter by whooa
The cold has slowed the noise of restless Fall
and hoarfrost coats the grass beneath our feet
From Autumn's warmth descends December's pall
The cold has slowed the noise of restless Fall
Eath's shoulders draped within a white prayer shawl
We contemplate another year complete
The cold has slowed the noise of restless Fall
and hoarfrost coats the grass beneath our feet.

Nice images of winter... you worked well with the repetitive lines evoking winter's coldness

Gah. Made me chilly just reading that. Sometimes I wish you weren't so good at imagery.

Reminds me of "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening," which is not a bad poem to be reminded of.

I really like "Eath's shoulders draped within a white prayer shawl" too.
