Piano Man

Morning Sonata
I went with you to the practice room
watched you play piano
Your fingers hit the keys
and another pin fell into place
in the lock deep inside me
Your style was not graceful
You didn't coax music from the instrument
so much as expect it
demand it
Yours were hands
not to be trifled with
I wanted those hands to unlock
the music I thought had died
I wanted those hands to make me sing
love songs
in the key of ecstasy.

Wow! Who are you? That was quite erotic. This is quite some mise droppings you've laid.

So you like piano players, eh? I can kind of...sort of...play a little bit of Yankee Doodle Dandy. Pretty impressive, huh?

HOT! So much, both inferred and said, and great pacing to boot.

I, too, notice a man's hands. One of the first things I admired about my one true love.

are you a singer? nothing like being a singer and really singing your accompanist a love song....

Even if the style is not graceful, I hope that it will inspire a love song. (I myself almost wrote a poem about always singing off key, but singing nonetheless.)

I like the mixed metaphors. Nice working of the sensual with the tangible lock and key. Really good.

Ah, me. I fell briefly in love with a piano player once. They are fascinating sexy beasts aren't they?

Nice, sensual metaphor. I like where you went with that key.
